Welcome to The November Project.
A unique space in the heart of London, where education, technology, leadership and art meet.
Craning out the old fuel tanks
We have been working hard over the winter to design and plan the project so it's great to be getting dirty at last!
Recently we've been cutting loose the redundant fossil fuel tanks so they can be craned out and recycled. D-day for the crane is next week, the angle grinders have been going non-stop. Once the tanks are out we will be able to see how big the hull actually is.
The November is a redundant Thames lighter barge riding the tides of the Thames by the Houses of Parliament. We are transforming her into a place for people to visit and be inspired and empowered to contribute to a shared vision of the future. A living sculpture, powered by the tide, designed by blending the things we feel are important for living well. She will provide a totally unique place in the heart of the city.
We invite you to explore our site to find out what inspired us to create this project and how you can become part of it.
